Your deposit is fully protected by the TDS Tenancy Deposit Scheme, a government authorised and regulated scheme.
We always adhere to the latest legislation relating to all aspects of renting and safety in a property.
Holding Deposit
To reserve a property and remove it from the market, a holding deposit (equivalent to one weeks rent) is taken in advance.
This will then form part of the first months rent at the start of the tenancy. If you chose not to proceed, this amount will be forfeited.
Reference Process
All applicants and guarantors are required to complete a reference process, by an external company, which is funded by the landlord. These checks include:
- Identity Check
- Credit Check
- Affordability and Employment Check
- Rental Reference from your current (or previous landlord)
Moving In
Prior to your move in date, you will be required to pay one months rent in advance (less the holding deposit) and deposit (equivalent to 5 weeks rent).
Your deposit will be held for the duration of the tenancy and protected by the TDS Tenancy Deposit Scheme a government authorised and regulated scheme.
